fly mods for mac not working

I put the minecraft.jar file into the lib folder, and when I click on run.bat, it will not let me open up the minecraft.jar file. Is there anyone who has done the mods on a mac and can help?

i did that but nothing happened nothing started to download why pleas respond

find minecraft-osx.sh in the same folder as run.bat.
Right click it and go to "open with" - "utilities folder" -
"terminal.app" make sure all applications is selected and not
recommended applications. That will run it. If you want it to always
open in terminal when you double click: right click it - get info - open
with -terminal
Then you should be in business
