Flying only on one level

Hi,

I use the current version of the World of Minecraft client for Windows and I am able to fly. But I can't use the q and e key to go up and down. The console says "Key: 16" and "Key: 18" but I neither go up nor down.

Has anyone an idea what the problem could be?

first press Z to enable the flying mode

ok, now it works. I thought

I thought it is enough to enable it with /fly.

You dont need any url's just type your minecraft account username and pass then press SIGN IN then select the first server
