Giant Spawners

hi people. i have recently been messing around with mob spawners by placing them with mcedit, they all work exept the giant spawners dont work even at night and on hard mode. could someone please tell me if there is a way to make the giant spawners work? also i have discovered that zombie pigs spawn on fire.

You have to edit the mob
You have to edit the mob spawn files I think, remember reading something like that. Look up changing the spawn files on google, because the giant mob is locked in the code.
