yah, no
my brother and i were just playing, nope, on his everyone looked normal. and on my they had my skin. even weirder isak, an operator, his skin looked normal

Did you edit the char.png
Did you edit the char.png file in the minecraft.jar file or place it in the skins folder? If so, that is not what that is for. The char.png file is for what others look like. To change your skin you must first buy the game then use the uploader within the preferences section on minecraft.net.
