I cut two third of my sugar canes and the rest is now gone. Is that suppose to happen now a days? How can I tell if I have been griefed or not?
Have been on IRC. Evil asked if I like him to come and have a look. When he arrived he was too busy chating to somebody else, about no you can't have a warp no warp etc etc and then walk out the front door. Lol, funny funny stuff. It reminded me of a very busy city yappy with a phone pasted to his head.
Anyway left things as they are to see if I have been griefed or that how the suger canes work now for 1.3.2...

okay so, i went and checked it out, as you can see from my image bellow you harvested the sugar cane, so basically you were not griefed.. .-.

Thank you Dan1205. Yes, EViL_ClanMaster was very busy and he quickly come to my aid before hallyn. I did not ask. All said was "I cut two third of my sugar canes and the rest is now gone." "I think I have been griefed." Then he kindly ask if I whould like you to come and have a look. I didn't even knew hallyn was there. O'well.
Sugar canes harvest, use to be able to leave one third when cutting away two third so it will re grow back. That was in 1.2.5 guess that no longer the case with 1.3.2
Better to be sure then to let a griefer get away. Again, thank you Dan1205 for you time and trouble.

Sugar canes get destroyed instantly, so you probably destroyed the top 2/3 and then accidently hit the last 1/3, making you think it had just dissapeared. Next time aim horizontally.

Thank you Usoka but am sure I have been aiming horizontally as the lower 1/3 is always still there after the cutting. It when I go away (After I stand back for a look at the result.) and a little later on my return that I fine it all gone. That is why I thought there must have had been a grief.
I'll do some experimentaions upon the said sugar canes and see for sure.

Well I done some experimentaions and found two things.
First, Usoka was right, I have accidently hit the last 1/3. Guess I gotten a little slack.
Secondly, it been the lag that had me thinking it "just dissapeared". The lag kept it there until I turn my back and walk away.
So there we have it. Mr. Lag not only have been trying to get me kill in Minecraft but he have had succeeded in getting me in trouble with a mod and got me a low vote as well.
Lesson learnt, wisdom earned. I won't be doing this again.

its *griefing* and you could see that i was busy with chainsaw01, he was asking for staff while you were alerting me of grief, i am not the only staff member, hallyn was also on which you could have asked her to help you.
