Well the contest is finally over, and I'll just take this time to say well done to everyone, we had a great turnout and I was more then pleasantly surprised by all the amazingly creative builds that came out of this, great job everyone.

Just going to say one thing, No way acesnipe built that huge death sitting in a chair without using fills in one night that thing is huuuuuuuge. Nissanguys (sorry but true) is a piece of crap and corntheheads isnt even a pumpkin it just looks like some black guy. Just saying....just saying. Not going to say mine was better or anything but there was definately better in there.
Yes it is only a silly competition but its a stupid one filled with lies.

The only thing that won acesnipe first prize was his hard work and effort he put into his build. We have staff monitoring the contest server and are able to track and log if (and when) users make fills. Obviously since no users are allowed to fill on the contest map, any rule breaking would have been easy to spot.
On a similar note, please do not simply call another build "crap" without constructive feedback. Doing so is regarded as immature and bad-spirited in terms of the contest.
The winners were decided on by an anonymous vote from the upper staff, which we were not allowed to discuss with anyone else. We looked for originality, detail and relevence in each entry and weighed up all of the votes to produce the winners.

I am not a bad sport. but come on the cinderella stagecoach did not even place.and a lot of ppl think my pumpkin would have placed .and this is a carving contest .and my pumpkin has the most carving in it .so whos but do i kiss to get rank .Don't you have no girls on your staff.they would have loved it.sorry nissanguy your pumpkin is so bad .that shows is contest was rigged . and to think i was going to donate 50.00 bucks to this server.but i see what kind of people run this server.and if your not in their click.you dont get rank.or place in their contest. P.S i dont kiss but to get in with your click RIGGED RIGGED

Lets try to refrain from taking the fun and lightheartedness out of this competition. The judging was independent, with each judge reaching a decision individually. The judging was based on originality as much as technical skill.
If you enjoyed the time you spent working on your pumpkin, then why should it matter whether you win or don't? I personally spent over 6 hours on mine, and wasn't even eligible to be judged. I still had lots of fun though.

For the record too, all staff were omitted from being entrants. This means that none of our staff were allowed to be voted on, ergo no staff were allowed to win.

We can track who used fills, and guess what, he didn't. I don't know where you get off making accusations like that just because you're angry you didn't win. Sorry the voting staff thought other builds were better (yours may have been great, but the top 3 were the favorites). There's no need to start flaming others. Consider this a warning.

You are a bad sport, the fact that you're spouting out sexist remarks about our women staff (yes, they do exist) shows it. I'd also like to hear your reasoning about how the contest was rigged and that there's some sort of clique that we chose winners from. I'd never even heard of NissanGuy until the contest. You can take your sexism and negativity and get out.

My pumpkin was the one in the far corner, to the right of Corn's. Thought i did a good job on it, but congrats to all the winners!! I specialy want to congratulate corn because he is a personal friend in real life. GRATS to all who participated! Love to see real art these days.
