Haven Gaming is one of the longest lasting servers on minecraft, having been running since August of last year.  It has been up because it provides minecraft players with an experience they can get no where else.

Haven is a story-driven role-play server.  One of the few of its kind, and arguably the best.  Whatever YOU do on the server effects the server.  And it is a great feeling to see your work actually matter!

However be warned we are definitely not a "freebuild" server.  We build for reasons that will enhance the storyline of the server.  That doesn't mean you can't build what you want to it just means you need a story-based reason to do so.

This is how we initiate new members.  During your apprenticeship you will learn how to correctly build on Haven.  When you first log onto haven you will be but a lonely vagrant, your soul not bound to this rift.  However, if a mortal is online he will be able to temporarily bind your soul to haven through a book.

This will be your master for now, follow him around and do as he asks.  He will teach you how to survive in haven.  If he doesn't do a good job explaining everything ask someone else they may be able to do so.
