I'm trying to connect to an SMP server with the World of Minecraft Custom Client, but I'm not sure how. When I enter the IP in the client URL bar, nothing happens.
Help?

How would I obtain the URL of a friends server? I connected to the server, via my browser and the URL shown there didn't look anything like the example you gave. I'm fairly new to SMP as well as World of Minecraft so any input you have would probably be beneficial. Thanks in advance.

SMP stands for SurvivalMultiPlayer, which is not supported by the World of Minecraft client. World of Minecraft client is for hacksing classic servers and singleplayer creatives. If you want a minecraft beta single player mod that allows you to use hacks then try Command Line, or setup a server and set some commands that can allow hacksing.

I have been trying to get on the World of Minecraft SMP server as well, but I am not sure what URL to use. tutorial on the portal advised me to add the IP into the minecraft client, but will that even be World of Minecraft then. I am confused. I am trying to get on the World of Minecraft official SMP server. I have whitelisted myself alredy. I cannot find any good tutorials online, so if anyone can offer some advice please do.
