I currently have been using a PC and I had to reinstall XP then Minecraft stopped working all together and i have searched and searched for a solution. So i decided to try it on a mac and it still doesn't work. I downloaded the files separately so there is no file corruption from me. My pc is a 2.0 ghz processor 2gb of ram with xp 32-bit. i would just like help on the pc because i never use the mac.

What is the error when you try to run it?

it just quits now. it used to say something but it just quits now. i log in and Ive tried connecting to a server and Ive also just tried doing single player. all it does is quit.

also on the web browser it does the switching applet then the screen goes blank. Through my research i have heard that it might be because of the new ati driver for my video card.
