I opened this tab, http://www.worldofminecraft.com/content/get-free-donator-rank-server and it said open up this and "At the top of this page there is a tab saying Free Rank! I can't find the tab please help!

That is an advertisement for another server. If you read it, like you said you did, you would have noticed a link on the 4th line. That link takes you to the other server, which like snow said, is not part of World of Minecraft. The World of Minecraft on top you are referring to is the forum post. Click the link.

To begin go to play! Button at the top of the website on the bar... Then White List yourself. And follow the Websites instructions and then come to SMP Server. ;p
