Help! Minecraft gift request from Salvation Army Angel Tree child
I may be in the totally wrong place, and if so I sincerely apologize, but I am trying to purchase the "wish" of a Salvation Army Christmas Angel I selected today and have no clue what he is wanting. He is asking for "Minecraft, Remote". He's a 10-year-old boy, and people have passed over him because they don't know what that means. Any ideas? I have no clue about Minecraft, and I'd like to help this young boy have a Merry Christmas. Thank you for helping!
maybe he means remote?
I dunno, maybe he means a controller to use on
his pc version?
but with MC graphics on it.
Like a Minecraft Remote. or controller. for PC?
Think you're a bit late on this one mate

Well, mine-craft if you're unaware is a freeform building game based on cubes. Sort-of like lego within computers to put it simply.
There's lots of different versions of the game that he may have been referring to as well as other merchandise.
See http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Minecraft
Depending on what this boy has and doesn't have as well as your budget is probably going to affect what you do.
If he has access to a computer that runs the game (Some schools use it for education but I suspect that they would provide accounts) and just needs an account that's pretty straightforward.
Otherwise depending on your skill I might suggest a raspberry pi and the pi edition of the game.
If you can provide more information on what sort of thing you're inclined to do i'm happy to help you find more information.
