Hello I was wondering if anyone knew how to solve my problem. I want to be able to type in a url instead of my ip when joining my server like how World of Minecraft has smp.worldofminecraft.com  and to get in mine i have to type numbers. how do i change this.  All help is welcomes and thanks in advance.

Its possible

You have to own a server, and appoint the url DNS servers to that server's ip.

Is there anyway you could explain that step for step to me plz.. Im not very technical and my friend hosts the server so i would need to tell him how to do this. Thanks in advance.
