I would like to know how to change the particles for the red stuff, as I can't seem to find it anywhere...

No where is the file for it...
I know how to edit it I need to know where it is...

You'll need either Winrar or 7zip
Use one of those on the minecraft.jar under the temporary folder for minecraft. There's a folder for each version of minecraft. To find this, seach run on your computer (not the batch file for the client) and type in %temp%/www.minecraft.net
