Guys, today I was starting a new world in beta and started punching some trees to get some wood, when I noticed a figure in the distance. It was under a tree, and was looking at me. I ran towards it but it ran into the fog. When I turned up the fog, it was gone. I never saw him again, but it still creeps me out. Could this be the legendary Herobrine?

I looked at the picture and thought it could be fake. I've seen photos that have parts that arent real. Like the herobrine. He could've found him on images and pasted him into the photo. But i doubt that too. If herobrine is real Minercaft is going to be really scary. I just hope that I dont find him standing right behind at one point.

At first i thought it was a lie, then my friend came telling me he had seen it, or should i say "them". First i didm't believe it, then he screen shared on skype, and i saw them! 4 of them to be exact, chasing him around 0.0 :P

There can only be one Herobrine in view at a time, let alone 4 chasing him around. They would just walk off. He must have used a summoning mod.

Ok, its not been edited. But I'm not going to believe it until i've seen him for real. How scary would it be if you were just mining then you found some diamond. And if your a fusspot like me and dont want to lose any daimond, you turn around to take it back to a chest, but standing behind you is Herobrine. Reply to me if you agree.

Ok remember how I said that i wont believe him till I saw him? Well, I didnt actually see Herobrine. But I did see some random floating blocks in the air. I also saw some random land forms floating in the air. AND there have also been some random blocks dug out of the ground. Answer if you've seen anything like this.

dude that's freaking scary.......I've looked for Herobrine but never found him. I think he might be a mob now, since I saw him on a mob list. It didn't say much, just a picture of him and "Herbrine is watching you...." creepy, right!?

I know he isn't summonable (don't know about mods or plugins making him summonable on his one) but i have had strange experiences in my world i called herobrine hunting but not until i changed th level i play in (via . minecraft saves) to a seed called flat land (I think) but i haven't seen him personally.

If you were running towards it, why were you wasting time punching a tree? How come you never got a piece of wood from a tree? So you went around being a guy punching trees but not long enough for the trees to give you a block of wood? Doesn't make sense if you know what I mean.
But yeah, it is a fake. There is a cyan box covering "Herobrine's" shoulders. In the real Minecraft, no cyan box exists. the only explanation for the cyan box would be a bloom shader from a mod, but that hasn't even come out for 1.7.3, let alone, 1.6.

I did receive the wood from the tree, I do go around punching trees long enough to get wood from them, and there is not a "cyan box" covering Herobrine's shoulders. That is just the fog.

Guys in update 1.6 there is write "*removed herobrine"
and in update 1.7 "-removed herobrine"
so hes back!!
Herobrine really exist in singleplayer.... i believe it cause of that update....
im feeling unsafe now...

i have seen herobrine on my friends computer when i played his minecrat for the first time i suspect he only shows when you have fog on i saw him in the corner and chased him for a short time but he just dissapeared i think notch put him in to mess with peoples minds someone needs to catch him with arrows or something i dont see notch putting him in as a potential threat i mean its minecraft whats he gonna do but make you respawn

The word removed has a meaning saying: removing him
so it means that Notch removed him out of the game
and then could of removed him back into the game
right?
maybe Notch is reprograming him right?
or he might be messing with us and testing the adventure and 1.8 update for minecraft these could be the possibilities?

Honestly, I dont see why people are so scared of herobrine. Its a little character you see off in the distance usually when foggy. Big deal. Sure he may kill things or do some weird stuff, big deal. Whats so scary about it? This is just my opinion by the way, no offence to anyone or anything :p

I have SATools v0.34 for my beta multiplayer world. And this guy is spawnable. They called him "Monster" due to lack of a better name for him i guess. But you can spawn him as much as you want!
Want some proof? I will upload a picture if i get a reply asking for one.

well u could simply change the texture of the zombie to a herobrine texture run around, find a zombie (in a herobrine texture) take a screenshot or even better get a freind to be behind the fog to attract said zombie, then take a screenshot and voila, u have seen the rare herobrine.

I think so too, but what he made, is changing the "char.pgn" picture of the human to Herobrines Skin and...Tada, You have a Herobrine.
Otherwise it would be Mod or just a failed Fake!

Reasons why Herobrine doesn't exist...
1. No code for him.
2. No texture for him.
3. Notch announced he doesn't have a brother.
4. Notch asked the original Herobrine poster if he was lying, and the poster said he was.
5. That's just a door texture, you put Herobrine in as.
6. Why would you take a picture of you punching wood, and fog on, when you could've just walked up to him, and got a better one.

There is a spawn-able thing called Monster which looks exactly like Herobrine - Look at the pictures i uploaded above to see him. IT IS NOT HEROBRINE. Just looks like him :P he will try and attack you like a zombie, but doesn't make any noise.

He runs away when you walk up to him. So instead of walking up to him and risk him running away he stayed where he was and took a screenshot from a distance. Also, Lazer was probally really excited and didnt think of moving away from the tree so he took a screenshot of HIM before he ran away.

Hey my brothers friend once found a random mine in his world.
In it there was 62 diamond.
He took it and went to his house to sleep.
Woke up and his chest was gone in its place was a sign saying:

and i agree with jak and P_D, i have only used the aether mod(awesome but lags the crap out of your pc) and NEVER have i seen "legendary herobrine", or rumorary herobrine if i will, even with med- fog, i have never seen even a tiny bit of herobrine, not even an eye, but i have seen people with herobrine skin, but they are real since they have names over them, and that pic that whoever posted showing herobrine in broad daylight probably had an early version of the herobrine mod, i know people mod, they mod like the crap out of their minecraft.jar's file.

i scared my friend once. you know the texture pack that comes with escapecraft3? you know how some of the paintings look like herobrine? Well, I put it on, put the fog to low and got a painting and placed it on a tree and it totally scared him. LOL
(p.s. i know herobrine's a myth and he doesnt really exist i was just having fun with my friend. He doesnt even know herobrine is a myth which makes it even more funny)

I think that the person in the distance is a re textured "Monster" but not a zombie unless his arms are up like a zombie which they aren't and my last assumption is that he has the Humans+ mod which i think has herobrine in it.

This is going on too much. Just so you know, there is no such thing, and never will be, called "Herobrine". I have some facts here for you if you still think it exists.
A hoax was staged on August 30, 2010 on the “Brocraft” stream (which is now known as “Ghost in the stream”). Copeeland, the stream’s creator, showed Herobrine, suspected to actually just be a retextured painting or iron door, near the end of the stream at 20:45. The video has since been deleted.
Now locking the post since you guys understand herobrine is fake. Have a nice day :D
