can anybody point me in a direction which has a faq for noobs. I am good on single player and I know what I am doing but I do not understand how to get a good multiplayer game going and what realms are I am assuming its just the cities people build. Is classic multiplayer out yet or is it just creative? I dont know where to go to get myself started thanks. Oh and Hi im new to these forums haha

When I am playing single player and I have to build tools and stuff to survive. What is the termonolgy of that, survival? And is there two player survival?

You could possibly start a Survival server and only whitelist the other person that you want to play with.

In both Classic/Creative and Survival you can have as many players as the server can hold playing together at one time.

Realms are just part of the software that is made for WoMRealms, to be specific, Realms are places where people build in, they each have realm(s). Sometimes people come in to another person's realm to do a contest, freebuild, role-play, etc.
