Server Name: You can call it whatever you want. So just put World of Minecraft Server or something.

Make sure you log in with 1.8 and not 1.7

If your Minecraft client says
If your Minecraft client says that your game is Out of Date, means you need to update it.
When you open your game, do not click play. Click Edit Profile on the left of your screen. Look for "Use Version" and click "Use Latest Version" and then on the bottom right click Save Profile.
