I've searched all over the internet to bring the best of whats out there right to your door. So I hope you really appericate it.
I got some helpful feedback on the last post, So I hope you guys like this. If not, just let me know.

Mod Spotlight: Gravestone Mod By: Subaraki
This mod is great for SP or SMP modes. IF you die, your loot will get saved in a really nice gravestone, and a beam of light will shine up to the sky to allow you to find it easily. If you on a server, the gravestone can only be destoryed by the person who died, and if another player LOOTS it, they can ONLY TAKE 1 Item.
I think thats the coolest thing about this mod, really makes you have to decide, what you LOOT from the player your killed. So far, no bugs or issues exist with the mod on servers.
Another neat thing about this mod is that server owners can choose to let players customize what gravestone will spawn when they die, or they can choose to make it so that certain gravestones will apper if the player dies at a certain XP level.
meaning, the higher there XP. The More EPIC the Gravestone! Def. a great mod to check out.

Map Spotlight:
The Little Clay Box By: Reather
This is a fun litte map, it'll take youe 15-30 minutes to play thru it.
It uses a lot of the new commands added since 1.8.0 Whats really fun about this map is that it can confuse the heck out out of you. Some things seem really easy.
and other times, you wondering what you did that solved it. All you know is somehow,
this box seems way bigger on the inside...

NOTE: this was a website that provides a link to a TON of various MODS for minecraft. However, due to it providing a link for the xray mod as well (in its list of 500+ mods) it as been removed.
I still feel this is a great website/rescource for people putting a mod pack together to check out. however, it was edited out for the safety of readers here.

Server Plugin Spotlight:
Gringots Plugin By: ebenwert
Gringotts is an item-based economy (currency) plugin for the Bukkit Minecraft server platform.
Unlike earlier economy plugins, all currency value and money transactions are based on actual items in Minecraft, per default emeralds.
The goals are to add a greater level of immersion, a generally more Minecraft-like feeling, and in the case of a PvP environment, making the currency itself vulnerable to raiding.
If you put down a chest and place a sign on it with the words : [VAULT] (case sensitive) you'll be able to store your money to use on the server, without the need to have the physical money in your inventory.

Youtuber Spotlight:

This guy puts together some pretty great Youtube CG animated short films.
A lot of his minecraft work is from 2 years ago. he recently put out a new animated short for MC. but, he really hasnt been posting anything in a while.
Feel free to send em some feedback, let em know i sent ya, and tell em you'ld like to see more work from him. Perhaps him might create a few more animated shorts just cause you asked :)
Either way, there really good work and fun to watch.

which link was that? I def wasn't trieing to endorse the xray mod.
Infact those on the list of banned mods from my review listing site. I refuse to add any mods that are a form of hacking or cheating.
The only mods i'll endorse are mods that add something fun or challenging to the SP game itself.

ya.. I see what your talking about.
I still endorse the website since its a great place to find quick links to A LOT Of mods. there constantly updating there list too to and checking it to ensure all links are up to date.
But, I can see why you chose to remove it and respect that.
The thing I hate the most about a lot of those mod lists is that they add any and every mod that's out there.
even the incomplete, or glitchy ones.
Or those mods that are actually ripped off from other mods.
or those mods that have a horrible texture job, and all that add is new colors of armor and new colors of ore, but DONT actually add anything to gameplay itself.
I hate those mods. waste of my time :)
that's why I had started the mod review listing and new this biweekly, since I wanted to spotlight mods that really add a lot to the gameplay, but arnt getting much attention are action. cause there not very well heard of, no pics, no vids, or no MAJOR Mod pack is using them. :)
IM very excited to be able to research and bring everyone here this great content. Handpicked. the cherry on the top of icecream :)
