Minecraft gets updated very freqently and i play a game called garrysmod.
there is a way to download addons and update them withhout surfing on the web and download a zip.
maby it could be used for the "World of Minecraft client" or "NBT forge" etc.
i use a download client called tortoise SVN.
just put in a special SVN link. (can be hosted via google)
and specify a folder to download.
after its installed and the file is updated just right click on the instalation folder and press "SVN update". (might be different)
download client: http://tortoisesvn.net/
Project hosting: http://code.google.com/hosting/
Thank you for reading this post.
well my idea was to make it more easy to update when the client gets out of date or something.
for example:
NBT Forge works with minecraft alpha and gets updated almost every week.
isn't it more easy to just click Update?
Thanks for the great suggestion, however World of Minecraft will not be opening SVN to the public at this time.
Cheers, H4X.

Hhhm i dont think that SVN is a good way to host the World of Minecraft client.
But not the good thing for the World of Minecraft client.
It takes longer to install Tortoise SVN then installing and testing the World of Minecraft Client + There will come peaple with topics about how to download and use the program so thats not good ;)
SVN is good yh i know i do use it for other software to yes but i belive that it isnt the good thing for World of Minecraft client :)
