hey guys i am new to all this and i came into the fray right into the middle of this big issue with client not working, so i never got to see it before it broke. i am unsure of how to play the classic game that is available on the minecraft website. i have not bought the game yet and just want to play the classic single player using the new World of Minecraft client. could anyone explain to me how to get it to play the classic game?

i have already downloaded the files and logged in, it is showing a page with servers. heres where it makes no sense. at the bottom it says "copy a /classic/play url. leave blank to generate a level". i dont want to connect to a server, i only want to play single player alone. bnut when i click "go" with it blank it does nothing but close the client. please help.

Ok... You download the file on http://www.worldofminecraft.com/Game_Client extract it (unzip - windows). Double click on the World of Minecraft.exe. Login with your minecraft.net username and password. Click "login". select the server you want(double click on it). Have fun! For single player.... Download, extract, double click "World of Minecraft.exe".
