As far as I know there is no way to use textures in classic on minecraft.net, but I've never actually tried it myself. As far as I know you don't get anything downloaded to your computer when you play in browser, but if you do you'd do something very similar there. I'll check on it tomorrow to make sure, but I don't think it's possible

I think he may mean full minecraft, if so you need to download the texture pack .zip file, then go into minecraft -> texture packs and mods, then open texture pack folder and place it in there

Lol I figured if he meant full minecraft he would have just said it, espescially after I told him how to do it on World of Minecraft, but thanks for posting that lol, cuz ur probably right. In any case this topic will help anyone trying to get a texture pack on World of Minecraft and on the full version now.

I'm assuming you mean the World of Minecraft client. To use texture packs on World of Minecraft, simply open up your World of Minecraft folder, click on the lib folder, click on the minecraft folder (not the jar file), then paste a terrain.png file into there. If your file is named terrain.png it will ask you if you wish to replace the original, select yes, and that's it. That will become your default texture pack for every server you visit in minecraft classic. To go back to the original default simply redownload the World of Minecraft client.
If you need a classic texture pack, (because mc full version packs wont work with classic,) here is a link to my hd texture pack, which is, of course, my personal favorite :P
