how do you get a server with

also, if it's any consolidation, i haven't been on in at least a year, so i'm not up to date on any of this, so this "most players know how to cuboid," etc. thing that you guys seem to think is down the toilet. i don't know anything about minecraft anymore.
so a push in the right direction would be helpful, too even if you cant directly tell me how this is done
