So, I decided to post this because I'm constantly seeing who people who are banned for griefing that come up with the excuse that it was a younger brother or sister who was playing on their computer. While I honestly doubt that all of the people that use that excuse actually have younger siblings who got on their computer and decided to grief a minecraft server, I just wanted to inform all of you of the /register command. While on the smp, the /register command allows you to set a password that you have to type in every time you log on. This is set with /register (password) (confirmpassword). Make sure you make your password something easy for you to remember, but not easy for other people to guess. If you want to change your password later, the command is /changepassword (oldpassword) (newpassword). To completely remove your password, the command is /unregister (password). Also, whenever you go afk, I suggest you quickly /logout to prevent anyone from coming up and doing things as you while you're away.
Awesome! I don't have anyone else that get's on my computer but it's definitely something i will use just because it's cool. +1
We've had this since the Mojang accounts were compromised for a brief period of time.
I was just randomly trying command shortcuts with letters and stumbled across it. Thought more people should learn about it.

How long have we had that?
