HTTP 500 Internal Server Error?

Minecraft.net is working, as far as the home page/servers list is showing up. But when I click a server, the page "Internet Explorer Could Not Display the Webpage" comes up, and in the tab it says HTTP 500 Internal Server Er.. which I assume means Error and also assume there are no words after that. Is this happening to everyone? The servers say that there are people in them, but this may just be a glitch. Any help?

SO i am having the same problem but what i have heard, since the release of 1.8 beta (exciting isnt it) we are now in the dilemma that now classic is not working... yea very dissapointing because i actually pick classic over beta. the simplicity is brilliant! it makes it tons better. but that talk is for another topic. so after reading this pretty long solution, that never came to a conclusion. i am facing the same problem, along with everyone... so all i can say is sit back, relax, and do something else untill they got it working again :D
