(By the way I hosted World of warcraft servers so there is no way that my ports are wrong)

hmm maybe restart your router a few times. if that doesn't work try to go directly from your modem. and see if you can get anyone to connect, if not then there is something else wrong.

hum i think the reason for this is because when you host a server you need to connect to the internal ip address of the server which is something like 192.168.xxx.xxx if you can connect using that then good, then you need to find your external ip and give that to whoever wants to join, just make sure you are port fowarding the right ports!

Ah this is my stupid Head sorry.
I connected to the wrong Host Provider! Instead of using my pc I used my bros pc as a host :D

I've been having the same problem...what exactly do you mean you connected to the wrong host provider? did you use some kind of port forwarding software?

I am having the same problem, whats this about the host, can somevody dumb it down for me?

He was using the wrong host, as in he had the router transfer data to the wrong computer (in this case, his brother's). Make sure you are using your own server as the host and not someone else' ;) unless it's a hired server online or something. Long story short, he was saying the server was one server, when it was actually another.
