Well i have done everything from the first 2 posts in troubleshooting, but when I start run.bat it doesn't work and says:
Could not find the main class: Main. Program will exit.
ERROR: Failed to run minecraft
JAVA6="C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe"
I have downloaded minecraft.jar from the official minecraft website, installed the latest version of java from the link you posted and I don't know what's the problem... Can you help me?

Problem solved.
Follow these steps and it will work, the servers are down anyways but this will get it going for when they are up.
1. Install Winrar
2. Download a new minecraft.jar
3. Open the minecraft.jar in Winrar
4. Delete the file named "null" ( these will disable those dumb updates)
5. Place in lib, make sure it isnt named minecraft (2) or something.
6. If so, rename it to "minecraft"
7. Play on your non-existant servers.
