Hello everyone, i was building in minecraft as i usually do everyday. when an interresting idea popped up inside my head.
Why can't we create other geometric figures than just squares for building houses?
Like; A cylinder object would be perfect if you wanted to build a roman temple (or something like that, i don't know)
But yeah. I think that would've been great, if this was actually possible. it would make it a lot easier to build houses and everything.
Did anyone had the same idea?

Sweeve.
It would ruin the whole feel and simplicity of the game. Enough said.
Apparently, Notch didn't want JUST blocks. BRICKS, for example. Their demensions are a bit different. The actual bricks go out like 3 pixels further when looked straight at (I don't do " X axis, Y axis " talk). So the cube rule has been broken.
Nuff said.

In my opinion, it would take away the classic feeling of minecraft.
Using circular shapes wouldn't go with are well known and loved blocks.
