as the title states i am looking for some building ideas for when nexus gets released. i do want a map with hilly land so ideas that go with that are great.
EDIT: i want something that goes good with hills. an example is a mountain village like what i did in World of Minecraft realms.

Hills definitely. Or hills, if you prefer. Maybe just one lone hill surrounded by smaller hills?

what is the nexus server?

It's a new server separate from the SMP server that, and I'm not sure about this, will have things like PvP and other variations of the game. I would like a post dedicated to describing it but I can't find one. Good question though.

If you want a hill, do it in the winter biome and build a spruce and cobble mansion.

You could build a hilly land, or maybe some hills. ooh hills could be nice. I hope you build hills, I've always wanted to see minecraft hills. I might build hills too in my nexus world if that is okay with you.
