illegal name???

My sava123 account logs me in and allows me to choose a server, but when i enter it appears with Illegal Name and a red screen. This happens too all servers that i try. I use a new account for now but i need to use my sava123 accoun. Please help. (To log in i can only use my email.)

It's because you have merged your minecraft.net account with your mojang account and minecraft.net is wanting you to use your email to sign into it, and the server is wanting you to use your username...One side has to fix it, otherwise you need to use you direct connect link...
