Yer a scout, and ye do some climbing in some park?
Actually, it is a 1800 acre Boy Scout Reservation on the border of Rhode Island and Connecticut. We wake up at 6:15, do our jobs (Fill fire buckets, pick up trash, clean the toilets, take out the trash, rake around the fire pit), then we go to our religious services (Catholic Chapel, Jewish Synagogue, Protestant Chapel), then we have one person from each table go and set up breakfast lunch and dinner (we switch people of course) and also clean up after, then we do our merit badges which we have to go to every day at a specific time, and we also have to do homework for them. Other troops challenge us to games like ultimate frisbee, water dodge-ball, and water polo. There are also fun things like the desert contest, running challenge, water carnival, costume contest, and the scavenger hunt, as well as the Saturday Night Show. We camp there for one week.
Lol you sure know what your talking about
Dining halls? Too overrated. We make our table's our of wooden beams. They tend to collapse after a week and a half, if the ropes arent knotted well... We dont work with badges here, and the only civilised thing we did was paintball, if you can call that civilised, ofcourse.Together with the wood gathering, campfire at night, the cooking and the small games we play, thats all we do... And ofcourse, totemisation.
and what and where is this?
The camp site changes every year, but this year, our end-destination was a military domain in elsenborn, the german part of belgium. I dont have decent pics about it though, cause half of the pics arent available yet.
