Irritated by note blocks

They don't have violin. I am so pissed. I was gonna make a sequence of note blocks and delay circuits to play the 1812 overture. I was gonna set up tnt for the percussion (when it's played in a symphony they use cannons) and now I can't. I was gonna spend days on this. I am disappoint.

My question is this: Do you think you can successfully build a musical composition with what is available? If you can, I'd love to hear about it. I have written quite a few pieces of music and I'd like to be able to build a suitable arranngement on minecraft.
