It won't let me buy Minecraft? (LOCKED)

I entered my credit card number in the payment application with all my info and it still isn't working. I sent an e-mail to support and I have no clue what they meant.
I got this saying:
Transaction error
An error occured and your purchase was not completed
Message from server: authentication denied.
An error occured and your purchase was not completed
Message from server: authentication denied.
The e-mail said:
Your request (#7669) has been received, and is being reviewed by our support staff.
What does this mean!? Do I have to wait for another e-mail or do I keep trying to buy? Also I live in the U.S.

the same thing happened with me... wat kind of credit card are u using like is it a master card cuz if it is that means that it wont accept MC cuz mine is and for some reason it wont work -_-
