It should say on the first run, "Do you want to download minecraft.jar?".
If that didn't happen, did you extract all of the files? Because I knew someone who had a similar problem.
Make sure you have 1.6.4, because that's the latest version.
It released on Thursday.
If those don't work, try updating your video card.
Also, make sure you have Java Update 24, not 23.
If none of those suggestions worked or you've already tried it, try contacting the World of Minecraft staff.

I have the seem problem , but I download minecraft.jar file , but my World of Minecraft works :D
