To me, it looks like that video driver is not letting java access it. Try to update your java and video driver.

i had same problem i just deleted it, fully updated java, then re downloaded the game. idk worked for me.

I've tryed updating java, updating my driver, and redownloading the server and none of it has worked. Im using my laptop, and it isn't bad, it's run other games fine. I'm also using Vista and it's got 2GB Ram so it isn't that either.

im sick of this. Ive had this problem for two weeks, constantly deleting everything in temp, uninstalling java and deleting minecraft. Nothing has changed. There is nothing on the internet explaining how to fix it, please if someone has any idea how to fix it please post here.....

Port forward or Update Java and Update the drivers to the latest

I have had my laptop for around two years now and i have whipped and re-loaded my laptop two times, each time exept for this time minecraft worked fine. I was trying to start minecraft classic ONLINE, but i had that error message, so i re-downloaded, and re-installed java. still nothing. so, as a young mind, i figured it was somthing temporarily wrong with the classic version. so i downloaded the full version onto my computer. and quess what, it still had the same problem, "MINECRAFT HAS CRASHED!" so i clicked 'more information' and guess what, EXACT SAME ERROR MESSAGE!!!

i sign into minecraft, i click on singleplayer (classic) coz i havn't downloaded the beta yet, and it comes up like this straight away -.- so basicly, i cna't play minecraft, anyone know how to help ? =/

wow i got it to work, it was dependant in how many folders it was it.
I took it out of my games folder which is in another folder and suddenly it worked. apprantly if World of Minecraft is in a folder within another folder it wont work.
