My question is since the start of the 2.0 searies of World of Minecraft there has been crashes nonstop for both my and my friends. We have been happy with the World of Minecraft 1.8 client but thought updating was a good idea.
It failed horribly now i can't even get on my our server to be operators/mods and keep the guests happy. what is new that made it crash every 10 seconds its rediculous. I've redownloaded, reinstalled and even went pack to past World of Minecraft clients that I had but none of them worked.
I am asking that you drop the new special features and go back to the origens of World of Minecraft and make it what it used to be. a simple easy to use control to fly faster.
P.S. I am a mod/op on one of the most popular servers in classic if I can't do my job becuase of this product then people's creations are being griefed and no one is there to stop it many of my fellow ops/mods have the same problem I do.

I strongly agree with jak, that's why he's a Mod. I am aware that World of Minecraft: Realms has the most players most of the time. I am SURE that you are not a OP there?

It depends when you tried this. Recently Classic was down from a 'Mad4Potter' Hack, please reference to Google for more information.
Please tell me what servers you are OP on too, It'll help. And trust me, being OP doesn't put you at the top of the world, The owner should be banning people for griefs.

I also absolutely agree with what jak said about the fact that if worst comes to worst they could just use mc.net. But since u both asked I clicked on his profile and apparently he's an op on opticraft, which is indeed a very popular server (don't like it myself) but no need to act like there are no other big servers out there.

Thank you for actually takeing note to the things I've said here.. and sure I may have egsagerated a little bit. But I know for a fact this isn't just me.
If i had a nickle for how many times i hear my friends complain about the crashes/freezes i wouldn't have to work again in my life...
The not being able to get on mc.net classic servers there I can understand being on my end... but not the complaints friends have had.

I have been thinking about this for a while and I am still stumped.
We have never had large numbers of players from the same community reporting non-working client, we normally get 1 or 2 at a time and they are never connected.
Have you tested it on other servers? It could be that your server has so much going on that it is causing the client to lag and shut itself.
Also, would you mind sending me some of your nickel fortune? I'm saving up for a new laptop :D

As far as I am aware, this is the first report that we have had saying that all of the 2.0 series has been crashing "every 10 seconds". Seeing as most members of this community seem to be able to use the client quite happily I assume that the problem is on your end. The versions of the client before 2.0 do not still work because mojang changed something on their side which meant that our clients no longer worked and we had to update our software.
Have you made sure that your java is up to date, as that very often causes the client to not work properly.

Also, you say that you are a mod/op on one of the most popular servers in classic, which server would this be?
And do you realise that you can still play the classic version of minecraft through minecraft.net, so how is it that our client is stopping you from doing your job? You should still be perfectly able to get onto minecraft classic in a manner which allows you to play the game and mod/op your server.
