i really need help. I'm new to Linux and dont understand it completely. I downloaded Java and omen070 but i need a tutorial instead of simple ways to run in terminal. I double click omen070bat. , but i dont get the option to run in terminal. Please help i really want to play World of Minecraft badly.

But the thing is im new to linux and it dosent give me the option to run in terminal. Is there someway to run in terminal without double clicking it? Or could you give me tut on how to do this?

i put in the Java file and it says permission denied

heres the thing. I've seen all the terminal inputs and suggestions. but like i said I'm new to Linux. i know very little about it. most of the suggestions i see seem like gibberish random stuff that doesn't make sense to me. what i need is just a strait forward tutorial on how to run it. I'm sorry if thats the best you could do to help me but it just doesn't work with me.

You can't run .bat files on Linux. .bat is a format only recognised on Windows. You need to run the jar in your terminal.
