Linux - World of Minecraft Custom Client Not Working

Hello all, I'm having some trouble getting the custom client to work. Whenever I click on run.bat and then click "Run" when prompted, nothing happens. Here's what I've done so far:
-I've unzipped WOMclient and moved it to ~/Minecraft/WOM
-I've put my official minecraft.jar into ~/Minecraft/World of Minecraft/lib
-I've modified the minecraft-osx.sh file so the JAVA line reads "JAVA=/usr/bin/java"
And some details:
-I'm running Linux Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit edition
-I have the official Sun Java version for Linux 64-bit, not Teacup or anything like that
-Java version: 1.6.0_20

Sorry about that folks, there was a typo in the line about where I put minecraft.jar. It was actually in ~/Minecraft/World of Minecraft/lib, and I've updated the post to fix this. However, the problem still persists, and having some help with this would be great.
