Log in issue?

Hello, I recently decided to download World of Minecraft.
When I signed up your team provided me with a password, and the username of my choice.
After I set everything up
and logged in, it began to tell me my log in was invalid, though I typed each letter in my password, very carefully.
I have a screen shot to better help you understand my issue.

You are signing in with your minecraft.net password, right? I have no idea what you mean by they let you have the username of your choice :P
