I am creating a project that would be better implemented with the use of longer pistons. I need a piston that goes out from 2 to 4 blocks or longer. I have searched all over, but cannot find anything other than a few pre-piston-update forum topics. I was wondering 3 things:
1st: If this is even a good idea in the first place
2nd: If there was a mod for that
and 3rd: If there isn't, how I would start going about making one (I'm not really a great programer).

I tried that with sticky pistons, thinking that I could stick them together, but it bugged out and hung in mid air.

Do this on the other forums (www.minecraftforums.net) and call it [REQ] Longer Pistons. And explain in that thread why you need it, and maybe someone will make it :D

what about just attaching another piston, to the one you have?
