First arrived in the World of Minecraft SMP and found it to be out built. Can't touch that tree, don't dig here and no, you don't have permission to build here or over there...
Somebody was nice to let me teleport over to him/her in the land of plenty. The trouble is I lost contact with him/her and I don't know where I am. /spawn back to the new town ok but when try and go /spawn to the old town, well that seem not the land of plenty. Have no idea where the land of plenty is. Did get back somehow between the Old and New and Hellen Town via /home as I did a /sethome there.
Is there any way of finding out as to where I am or what town or realm I'm in?

Not really, I had just started up a village with two other players and a farm, plus a lookout, way a top of a big mountain. Then there the Grimeton Horror Mine to boot.
The two other players are also trying to figure out as to where we all are. A very big world in the server. I don't think a server staff flying about will be of any help ether. Unless we make a very massive land mark.

One fellow in minecraft asked if I'm still lost and my replay was "Yes". He then suggested that I may need search and rescue. Well, there are two very large land marks, mountains. One with a lookout with some fencing and torches ( The Grimeton Lookout. ) and the other with a yellow square building a top.
Update! Been on a walk about, a days journey, and found a new city, newly built. Met two players their and they know not what the place is call. One fellow even welcomed me into his little home but I have a big farm now with lot of wood.

What a pickle you are in... Don't see how anyone can help, Unless the only possible soloution is you try and get one of the staff to fly around and try and find it but that problem wont work... should have /sethome xD
