Recently, my Minecraft has been playing at 1-5 FPS and it's just getting unplayable.
I'm playing on an Alienware gaming laptop that's less than a year old. I have 4 gigs of ram and I have very few background processes. I can play Crysis on max settings, but for some reason Minecraft is very slow.
Back when I first got minecraft, shortly after Beta, it ran just fine. However recently the frame rate has been EXTREEMELY slow. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I have deleted and re-downloaded Minecraft, I have tried the browser version, everything I can think of to run it.
yeah, i don't have the best computer, but i have a fairly nice graphics card and havent had problems with this game till recently. i've looked all over the place for solutions and it's all idiots claiming that it's their hardware that is the problem. i don't know about anyone else but my hardware doesn't just decide that it wants me to play WoW on high settings, but it will have nothing to do with minecraft on any settings at random. i would greatly appreciate a solution for this since it happened on my laptop about two months ago, and just happened today on my desktop.

Do you use any logitech hardware? I have found that the LGCore.exe process for my logitech Gaming hardware conflicts with minecraft for some reason.
