Hey, I followed the video and when I double-click on the minecraft-osx.sh file I get this is the terminal:

What exactly happened there? I'm running system 10.5.8 on a Macbook pro Intel core duo. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

im running 10.5 and am having the same problem as those above me. however, i tried it on my netbook running 10.6 and eveything worked fine (only its too slow to play, but that's a hardware issue)

since i switched my gaming from my mac to pc im a bit rusty on mac support. But i do remember another man with a similar problem, we fixed it by redownloading the .jar file and the client. if that doesn't work ill try and recreate your problem and find a fix.

I've followed the instructions exactly, with the exception that the normal minecraft.jar download link wasn't working, so I got it from here:
http://minecraft.net/download/Minecraft.jar?v=1285275755333
But I'm still getting this error when I try to launch:

Is this the wrong jar, or is there something else I'm doing wrong? :(

Hey, guys, there's one way to solve this problem, we have to Google "Windows 8 emulator" and we'll have to download anything we can to get the emulator, and on it, you guys have to download XWoM that way, for it to work. My big brother works at his own company, which is really his own, and he uses Windows 8 o his Mac for things to work. I bet it would be pretty cool to use it on a Mac, you can get whatever you want. Awesome! Let's do it, it'll solve the problem!!!!
