Sorry but i had to use a title that would grab your attention.

Recently I have been introduced to the idea of macro use to enable commonly typed things such as cuboid (or fill if you are using other server versions) to work with the press of a button.

For those of you who have the World of Minecraft Client you may or may not know that you can MIDDLE click (thats the scroll wheel button) on a block to automatically change to the block type you are pointing at in your inventory.

I have created a "Hotkey" script to render that feature useless and engage my own hotkeys.

Currently Assigned all to the middle mouse button here are the following I use

Middle Mouse - /cuboid (/fill for World of Minecraft)

Ctrl Middle Mouse - /cuboid air (useful for deleting) (/fill air for World of Minecraft)

Ctrl Shift Middle Mouse - /cuboid hollow (replaced with /copy for World of Minecraft)

Ctrl Alt Middle Mouse - /cuboid walls (replaced with /paste for World of Minecraft)

Shift Middle Mouse - /paint (disabled for World of Minecraft)

Wheel Left (left scroller on the scrollwheel) - /lava

Wheel Right (right scroller on the scrollwheel) - /water

Not working with my mouse at the moment are the last 2 commands

I use the MCSharp servers which use these commands. If you want to setup for equivalent commands for other server types its easy to do.

You need the following to do this

www dot autohotkey dot com and download the program

--- Click Download, Click Autohotkeyinstaller ---

Once Downloaded install the program

Download the file attached to this post and extract it. Double click to run it. It should load automatically.

Note: This will only work for Windows.

There are 2 extra commands in this file

Winkey + Z to go to my website, nothing special there dont feel inclined to look, i wont be worried.

Ctrl Alt N will load Notepad but only when you press the key combo while using the game in the World of Minecraft Client

I have now added the World of Minecraft Macros, if anyone can try it and post if it works (if you wish to use it).

I have had to change a couple of commands for World of Minecraft Macros and was unable to find an equivalent paint command for World of Minecraft. If you can point me in the right direction I can reupload.

its a good think i already

its a good think i already use macro since i have a mcro keyboard (Logitech G15) all i have to to is enable macro then choose my macro buton then nter the command like (t/fill airEnter) then each time ill click on G1 it will be a faill air :P

well my option allows users

well my option allows users to use their mouse (the primary building buttons) to actually run the scripts.

If someone can confirm the fill options and paint options for the other versions of minecraft servers i will upload a file for them too.

For those of you who are unsure how to setup your overly advanced keyboard and mouse with macros provided with them then the option above is a fairly straightforward way of doing things.

Friendly tip.

Just informing you, this will be almost completely without use on World of Minecraft servers because of the precautions that we take and because of the restrictions that are imposed. Maybe some minor portion of World of Minecraft users will be able to use it, but the vast majority can't. In case you still want to make one for World of Minecraft, our commands are listed in the Command List. Good luck!

EDIT: 116 users of World of Minecraft guaranteed to be able to use it. That would be 0.2932% of World of Minecraft users, yikes! Even with the ability, some of these 116(myself included) either don't build at all (I don't, so that would reduce that to 115 people) or they like to build by hand so they can feel accomplished.

your entitle to an opinion, thankyou. I did state that I designed it for MCSharp and what it does is type it in for you.

(ie t /cuboid air [enter])

I also understand the by hand thing, i also know that everyone loves to run a server and everyone loves to get an area filled faster if possible when they have the option.

The post is aimed at the wider community rather than just World of Minecraft users.

I will now quote the forums description, this is what allows me to post the information:

I will add to the original post a comment after i add a new file containing commands for the World of Minecraft Community. Just remember that not everyone who uses the forum, uses your servers.

I was directing the entirety of my post to this, in support of helping you complete your task as related to the "other version[s] of minecraft servers" of which World of Minecraft relates to.
