The Market is an area on the new SMP map that can be reached from spawn or warped to by using /warp Market and when you get there, you warp to a stall with all the rules on the outside of it. It seems that some people could not read these rules so I am putting them here to be even clearer and a few general tips/hints:
- ONE SHOP PER PERSON
I've had to remove many, many, many shops/claims because of two users who decided to buy more shops and then try to resell them off to other people. Well guess what, you don't have those claims anymore. And no refunds.
- Right click a sign to buy a shop!
It's that simple. Right click the sign in front of the shop and it's ALL yours to sell your items at your own prices!
- Look around for the shop that suits you
There are many stalls and you may want to choose a shop in a populated area or one that has less other competing shops. Looking around other shops will also help you to choose a good price for your items or to see if they are exclusive.
- I want to sell my shop since I don't want it anymore
If you want to sell you shop, please contact a staff member like Juptier_Ginger or MrSnowGlobe who are fluent in the Market area and they will give you a price for your shop and will set it up for resale.

tht good idea i have only one shop but not many so if i don't have more room for the chest then i should build more room but not another shop

Room for more chest? Yes, well guess we all have to make do with the room we have.
Anyway been having players coming up to me asking me as to where their shop is. Admittedly the market is a big place with no street/lane name or numbers. People usually remember such things, not the color of a building.
I purpose that there to be street/lane name and a number on each shop. Also a photo of the whole marketplace from above posted in the forum or gallery as map for players to find there way round.
I do realize many of you are very busy but if I can be of any help then by all means let me know via massages.

Street names/numbers are already planned to be added, the photo one is a good idea, might get that added when some more shops are taken.

Time for a bump bump bump
It has come to my attention that a lot of people are buying shops and running off. Well from now on, if you haven't been on the server for 7 days and have nothing to sell then I'm just gonna delete your shop and put it up for resale.
Because of this, there are now about 10-20 more shop spaces available in /market
The second purpose of this post is just that, a lot of people on the server have a shop but nothing in it. I saw someone complaining earlier that they couldn't find a shop but there were heaps of empty shops. If you don't want your shop then just ask Jupiter or me and we will buy it off you.
Also you only own a shop if it is claimed, I found two shops that were freeloading on market places that were not claimed.
Also Jupiter, if you are reading this there are a few plots that need your [RE] signs because you have claimed them :)

I'll fix it when i get on. A few of them might say they're in my claim cuz i got lazy and put them up for lease, which is basically selling a subdivision of a larger claim. The person who buys it is the owner of that subdivision, but the overall claim is still mine. Gotta stand in shop and do /trustlist to see who bought it. I'll take a look around there and fix any that need it.

I was able to make the claims myself because it seems I am not limited to a certain area to claim.

Would just like to add that the same rules apply for the Town area, and if you're found to have more then one plot there, they will be deleted with no refund, including anything that may have been built on the claim.
