Hello, everyone! Although I hate writing them, I figure it's in good
taste to write an introduction to a community I hope to be active in.

My name is Marx, and I am a computer science student at North Dakota
State University currently working on my BS. I'm an avid coder and
video game addict. I like any and all kinds of games. I could write
volumes on everything from Gears of War 2 to Harvest Moon. I sometimes
joke saying "I'm the most hardcore casual gamer out there."

When computer programming and other school work isn't dominating my
life, music is my passion. I am a concert violinist of 10 years, and I
recently purchased a custom Mark Wood brand electric violin (that's
totally bad ass, no lie).  Though I'm classically trained, I prefer to
play blues and rock. My palette for music is very wide, but my favorite
genres to listen to are hip hop and blues. I was considering majoring
in music, specifically music theory, but I ultimately had to follow my
geeky instincts and take up computer science.

My sports are pretty much only swimming and skating (unless you
consider chess and video gaming a sport). I was a competitive swimmer
for three years. I wasn't great, but I loved doing it. I'm not sure if
it's a sport or not, but I'm also into airsofting. I could talk about
those stinging games for days.

As far as Minecraft goes, it isn't exactly an exciting story for me. I
heard of it a long while ago, I got really into it, I got tired of
unstable servers and griefers, and I quit for a few months. I come back
and lo and behold; World of Minecraft had the answers to my problems! I'm a nice guy,
I promise. It's nice to meet you all, and I hope to see you on the
servers soon! :)
