Maximum Reputation per Day

I seem to remember seeing somewhere that there was a limit of something like 1500 reputation point-gaining actions per day (or something similar), but for the life of me, I can't find it again.
Does anyone recognize this or am I just dreaming?

actually if you simply do /rep it will show you that there is a maximum of 2500 actions per realm and 5000 actions alltogether maximum per hour
