Here's my blockheaded opinion on this matter:
I myself feel Minecraft is alive. I find it evolves to our interactions and destruction and amending to it. I have considered alchemy, enchanting, constructions, mob interactions, environment interactions and even some of the spooky pasta remnants mainly in stories and rumors.
I have a myriad of things to add and say on this subject, but I'd like to open this discussion with the statement I just made and get your opinions.
