Hello,

I am MerkDalat, many of you may not know me, but I am here on behalf of many reasons. Recently a new server software called, "MCDawn" was released. Before I start, I am here not to compete with the other softwares you may know as, "MCForge, MCStorm, Fcraft, Opticraft, etc." What I am here for is to Introduce you to MCDawn and It's great features. MCDwn, at the moment is a very small Software. What many of you may not know, MCDawn has unlimited features, and Every update is our best Update yet.

MCDawn is actively developed by the one and only, "Jonnyli1125, sillyboyization, EpidermiK, Gamermakegm, and Givo."

MCDawn also has staff Members to keep the Forums, and Global Chat a secure place. (You will learn about Global Chat later on in this Thread.) Our currect staff steam is, "MerkDalat, Kelvintiger, MitchOssImPants, xsnakev, Speedkicks6, and Xeadin."

Each individual Player has played a huge roll in Making MCDawn to what it is today. Although MCDawn is small, only you can make MCDawn as big as then others!

What is MCDawn, and it's great Features?

MCDawn, should be mostly known for the Community. MCDawn is Probably one of the nicest most respectful Communities out there. We do not tolerate any kind of abuse I MCDawn. Any non - tolerant behavior will be Dealt with ASAP. MCDawn is also known for our Console. The Console is one of many great features growing and expanding largely in every update. One of then great Features of The Console, is being able to speak to Players, through Adminchat, Opchat and even Global Chat! You can also see who's using what commands. (This could be very helpful if your in search of a griefer!) Theres just so much more to the Console allowing you to set Death Points from falling like the full Version of minecraft. MCDawn also has something calledGlobal Chat. Global chat allows you to speak throughout all MCDawn servers, Unlike MCForge and MCStorm, you can toggle Global Chat to speak automatically. Global Chat is actively watches by Our staff Members and The devs. If find someone is spamming the Global Chat, The MCDawn staff is on there way!

There's just a huge list of what MCDawn is and what it is known for. A lot of People just want a software, where they are treated with respect and have many commands to make there daily lives through building and Moderating much easier.

What are some awesome Commands?

Theres a unlimited list onto how great MCDawns' commands are spectacular. Heres a list that might interest you.

-Redesigned Console GUI
 Our Console GUI has been redesigned, and is improved to allow easier use with server owners.
 
-Review Systems
 Review Queue systems are in MCDawn, with a /review command. Guests can type /review, then an operator types /review next, which will bring the operator to the guest, and they can review the guest. If the operator declines the player, the operator can type /decline (player) which will send a message to the guest telling them their build was declined for promotion.
 
 -Map Locking
 Players can now lock/unlock maps using a /lockmap command. This will make it so anyone in the map can’t go out, and anyone outside the map can’t go in.
 
-OP Chat/Admin Chat
 OP Chat existed before MCDawn, but since this is an awesome feature we just want to explain it more. If players put a ‘#’ infront of their text, it will go to “OP Chat” which is a chat channel only OPs can see. The permissions for this can be edited in Console properties. If you want to toggle OP Chat, you can also use the command /opchat to toggle it. The same goes with Admin Chat, which you put a ‘;’ infront of your text, and/or you type /adminchat to toggle.
 
-Global Chat
 Players can talk to players on other servers by connecting their servers to MCDawn Global Chat. To talk into Global Chat, you can type /global (message) which will send a message to MCDawn Global Chat, and it will be seen on all MCDawn servers connected to it. You can also now toggle talking in/out of Global Chat with /global toggle.
 
-Rank Chat
 Rank chat is chat available for every rank, used with the command /rankchat. Just typing /rankchat will toggle talking into your own rank’s chat, and using /rankchat (rank) (message) will let you talk into other rank’s chat. The rank chat is viewable by players of your rank, and OP+ players, which unless the rank is higher or equal to operator rank, it only shows in their rank chat.
 
-Physics
 Physics were originally in MCLawl, and even in the basis of MCLawl (MCSharp). With MCDawn, physics have another option now for “Doors Only”, which only make doors open/close if you have them on. This is activated by typing /physics (1-5), which for Doors Only physics you would want /physics 5. If your server is making lag because of the physics, you can just kill all the physics with /killphysics.
 
-Maintenance Mode
 A Maintenance Mode option is in MCDawn, allowing only a selected rank and up, and players with the localhost IP to join. You can edit the options and view status for this in Console.
 
-Whisper To and From Console
 Server Owners can now whisper to their players from the Console, and that means players in-game can also whisper to the Console. This is used by typing @(player) (message) in Console, and in-game it is typed @@(message), which will send a message to the Player/Console.
 
-Map Chat
 Map Chat (RP Chat) exists in MCLawl, but in MCDawn it has been refined and with a /private command you can toggle whether you talk to players only in your level or server-wide. You can also type /private (message) to just send a message to players in your level without making it toggle on/off.
 
-Admin Security System
 An Admin Security System (ASS) has been added into MCDawn (Since update 1.0.0.2).  It is an extra layer of security for your ops, meaning they have to enter another password when they log in. Players in the ASS can’t use commands or modify blocks, and can’t read the Op Chat or Admin Chat. MySQL is required for this option, however if you don’t have MySQL, we strongly suggest you have “Verify Names” on, otherwise people might be able to namehack players on your server.
 
-World of Minecraft Direct Heartbeat and Texturing
 MCDawn also supports World of Minecraft (World of Minecraft) Direct, meaning your server will show at the top of the World of Minecraft list, and you can put in “description” and “flags”. Also there is Texturing support, meaning you can upload textures to your server by changing the motd. For a tutorial on this, read http://files.worldofminecraft.com/textures.php.
 
-Homes/Personal Maps
 Homes or Personal Maps are in MCDawn, and you can create your own home with /home. You can also step in a Home portal (coming soon) which creates the map for you. To view all the commands on Homes, use the command /help homes in game.
 
-GeoIP (Showing what country players are from)
 You can now choose an option in Console to show player’s country when they join the game. This is very useful as you can collect information on who from what country joins your server!

-Anti-Proxy
 Don’t you just hate Griefers with proxies? MCDawn has put in an anti-proxy feature, which will block out proxies when players try to join from them. This way, when you IP-Ban, you can ensure that the Griefer doesn’t come back.
 
-Gun control
 Ever been annoyed with people shooting guns all over the place and destroying everything? Now with a /allowgun command, you can choose which levels to allow gun use on; controlling the use of guns.
 
-Admins joining/leaving silently
 Owners may now choose to let admins join silently. If you don’t want players to know when admins log in, or you don’t want them to disturb players when they log in, this is a great option for doing that.
 
-Admin auto-hide on join
 In addition to letting server admins join/leave silent, they can also join hidden, which is another useful tool. If this option is enabled, when they join they will automatically be hidden and no players will notice them join (unless Admins joining/leaving silently is disabled).
 
-Redone /lowlag
 Lowlag is the server update interval, which by default is 100 milliseconds. You can now choose to set this interval (it has to be in between 200 and 10000).
 
-Warning players
 Operators can warn players with /warn (player), which will add a warning for the user. When the player reaches 2 warnings, they will be kicked from the game. However after they re-log in, the warnings will reset and they will be back to 0 warnings.
