How I can convert .mclevel to .lvl? I made map with Omen and I want to play it on my server. I am using MCSharp, but it cant open .mclevels, only .lvls.
its the file format that mcsharp supports. day7tech (or voziv, whatever they call themselves now) made a level converter that will convert .mclevels, .levels, etc to .lvl files for mcsharp to use.

That is the exact question I had! I will try to message an owner or an admin about it, and tell you.
EDIT: Skip everything below this! Just use Omen 6.0 and you can directly save to .lvl, I tried it. I still can't figure out the backup error, though, but I may have done something wrong with the multiworld on Carbon Domain 3.
I didn't really find anything helpful, just a broken hyperlink that's supposed to lead to a converter. I find this very frustrating.
I FOUND IT ON THE FORUMS! I FOUND A LINK!

Instructions by [Owner] Jon.
Once you made your map, go to file, save, then type in name.dat. Once its saved you will need this: http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?id=2508
Download that and open it. Sign in, select a map slot, and upload your map. Restart the World of Minecraft Client, then choose your map at the top.
OMEN 6.0 IS WIN! Saves directly to .lvl.
USE TEH EDIT BUTTON!!!
Does the converter work for mcforge server and does it work to open it up in classic single player
