Hi guys just wondering wether there will be a second minecraft? and when is the next update?

No i know but just looking for some different people to reply to see if they had a different answer. And they could make one with cars and stuff :)

Therefor not "Minecraft" but more like "Futurecraft" or something.
"Minecraft 2" would be a sequal, perhaps it would have a storyline and instead be called "Minecraft". Where what currently is "Minecraft" would become "Minecraft Creative" and only support the creative aspect, therefor needing a counterpart; "Minecraft Survival".
It would be split to have Minecraft, which is survival and would contain a quest/storyline and "Minecraft 2" would be changed slightly and have a quest/storyline which continues from where "Minecraft" ended.
If that is the case there may well be "Minecraft Survival" which would be a limitless survival game where you can both multiplayer and normal survival where your actions do not stop you from being able to go to certain places in the world. Like in the story version you may have to go to the nether and defeat a boss before exploring somewhere else, then going to the end. Yet, in the "Minecraft Survival" you would be able to go straight to the nether, or even bypass it, and go dirrectly to the end to defeat the dragon.
With the end world in the game you would have to defeat the EnderDragon. In the story version you would get the conversation before the end credits and that would be the end of "Minecraft" and the next game "Minecraft 2" would carry on after that. Where as in "Minecraft Survival" you would defeat the EnderDragon and the portal would take you back to the oposite side of the end portal allowing you to continue the game. The credits would then be accessable from an option in the options section of the main menu.
TL;DR version:
It would be rather caotic and mean that what we know as Minecraft currently would be changed forever.

You got told when you asked about 2 weeks ago that it was highly unlikely that there would be a minecraft 2, seeing as they are still updating minecraft and that they have other games to do.
Also, what could you do with minecraft To make another game out of it?
