Hi guys, i just wondered if you think there will ever be a minecraft 2 and what could they add to the original minecraft? replys would be much appreciated. Also if you checked out our youtube channel and followed us on twitter THANKS! :)

MineCraft 2 is already out,

New MineCraft games are released every so often. They all have the same name "MineCraft" but next to the name there is a number. The newest game I've seen is MineCraft 1.2.3. Maybe you should try it.

Total troll. MineCraft is an ONLINE game, so it is updated. Maybe you could call MineCraft 2.0.0 "MineCraft 2" but the numbers are the version. MineCraft Classic IS the original MineCraft, but its maximum version is 0.30.

I highly doubt there will be a Minecraft 2 or ever could be.

They have other games to do before that and Minecraft is still in it's lifespan.

Technically, the version

Technically, the version after classic is Minecraft 2. So, indev or w/e it was. 

[EDIT] - Did a quick google search. Apparently,  Alpha was originally called "Minecraft 2" however Notch changed this almost immediately after release as it would, as he exclaims, "turn down loads of options/opportunities in regards to the future of Minecraft". 
So there you have it boys and girls. There was a Minecraft 2.
